Dear Superfantastic Yuletide Author,

This is my first time in this fest, and whether it's yours too or you're a vet, thank you so much for participating and for writing something for me! You are a special snowflake and the most generous human and I love you already!

Before I fully jump in I'll just highlight that I am cool with side/background characters in all of these fandoms. I selected characters as per my preference for those on whom the story will be focussed.

I think I’m pretty easy rolling to when it comes to fic. As far as prompts and premises go, I hope you’ll feel free to go wild.

Though, if it helps, I do like:
1. There is NOTHING that I love more than a crackisk premise executed well.
2. WLW and GEN are my faves in terms of central character and/or relationship, but I’m cool with all manner of sideships.
3. I love character studies and explorations of relationships, whether between partners, friends, kin, or colleagues.
4. I like to laugh.
5. I’m cool with stories that have love but not sex. In short, any rating is welcome.

In terms of DNWs:
1. PWP
2. non-con
3. lots of action scenes (I don't mind a bit)
4. language of possession, esp in sex ("you're mine" etc)
5. lots of descriptions of idealised bodies (perfect skin, thinness, etc--that said, if you want to give me women whose thighs touch and have a few spots, I'm in!)

Anne of Green Gables (Anne Shirley, Diana Barry) Bosom chums and/or friends to lovers would be 100/10 for Anne and Diana!

Star Trek: Discovery (Michael Burnham, Sylvia Tilly)

Anne with an E (Anne Shirley, Diana Barry, Josephine Barry) Very here for Anne & Diana as bffs and/or partners in love. OR Josephine Barry GEN and/or reflections on her life with Gertrude

D.E.B.S (Amy Bradshaw, Lucy Diamond)—a farcical caper would be 100. Bonus points for banterous Scud.

I can't write for you cause I've only read the books and not seen the TV series--btw, you've got your letter on the app under the books, that's how I found you.

That said, though, everything and I mean EVERYTHING in your initial description and likes and DNWs was something I felt in my BODY and I was so crushed when I found we did not share fandoms.

I’m not sure if anyone’s told you, but just in case I thought I’d mention it. You’ve requested Marilla Cuthbert for Anne of Green Gables here in your letter, but she’s not a nominated character. The character you’ve requested on the letter app is Anne’s daughter, Bertha Marilla “Rilla” Blythe, who appears in Anne of Ingleside, Rainbow Valley and Rilla of Ingleside. If I was your writer I’d be happy to write about Marilla, but somebody else might not be and they’d be expecting you to want a story about Rilla.

Welp colour me embarrassed. Thanks for pointing out my blunder so I can fix it! This is exactly why I requested the book canon but didn't offer it--been too long since I read it!
